Good old classic racism, almost everyone but the racists hate it, but why are people racist? I've thought on this topic and did some research by observing other animals. I have two cats at home, one is part tiger and the other is some gray cat.(I don't know the specific species) And what I did was I observed my cats' actions, I noticed they fought a lot. I went over to my friend's house one day, and he has three cats, all of the same species from different parents! These cats got along great, using each other as pillows, fluffing each other and occasional playtime.(not actual fighting) I was astonished, then I thought about human action compared to these cats. I came to a conclusion that it is plausible that we as humans have a natural instinct of racism. If you think about it, it's not like we lived with blacks, Asians, etc. when we didn't even have language, we only lived with the same race. But then I thought, why isn't everyone racist today? I began to think that maybe we only feel racist to what we do not live with, which is indeed so just as plausible, but I began to disagree when I see all the racists out there today, native to America, or any other melting pot. Assuming my first theory is true, we have to be taught to not be racist, or just open minded. What do you think? Discuss.
