The world will end someday
The Human race lives on the world
Therefore, The Human race will end someday.
This seems quite obvious. My question is, "Does it matter when the human race ends, if it is doomed to inevitably end?"

No, it doesn't matter when the human race ends. When it ends, it ends. I don't think anybody is gunna care when it ends if they're gunna die with them...
Common sense really isn't that common.

It will not end. By the time the earth explodes we will be on different planets.

If we're going to all die, then we shouldn't care life is just like a bag a chips, it can go as easily as it comes. But still, we will be dead from third party sources by the time the world dies out.
How would you expect someone to live on one of the other planets in our galaxy? The planet that we can even consider living on other than Earth is Mercury (or Mars I can't remember) because of the ice that was discovered on it.
The closest galaxy to ours is 179,000 light years away (times that by about 6 trillion miles and that's how far away it is.), and I highly doubt a human could get to a different galaxy and live to see it.
It would take millions of years to uncover the technology to be able to travel to different galaxy and live.

I believe you should get your facts straight.
The next closest conceivably habitable planet is Mars.
The closest galaxy to ours is the Andromeda Galaxy, which is 2.5 Million light years away from us. And will collide with ours in about 60 Million years. Our own Milky Way Galaxy is about 100,000 Light Years in diameter.
And judged from our progress in technology in just the 20th Century alone, I think it will take us far less than billions of years to achieve technologies that will allow us to travel to distant galaxies within a single human lifespan.
As for living on another planet, I hope you have realized that we have discovered HUNDREDS of other planets in our own galaxy. As our technology progresses, the size of the planets we'll be able to detect will shrink, steadily approaching Earth-sized worlds, potentially fit for harboring life.
Hey, Unclean told me to post that thread, and as we all clearly know, his logic is flawed greatly.
Chill, have a cup of coffee.
It won't matter as long as I'm not alive when it happens.
Now, as for settling on other planets, we have been searching for years and years for other earth-like planets, which are planets taht are in just the right orbit arround the sun that it's inhabitable. I doubt we will fine one close enough that we could settle on it.
beep
eh, you never know with science we could eventually end up making "bio-domes" and living on other plants, or slowly adapting to other plants gravity/climates etc. Saying that we can't settle on other plants can't really be true, cause no more then 100 years ago it was impossible for a man to be on the moon.
Suffering becomes beautiful when anyone bears great calamities with cheerfulness, not through insensibility but through greatness of mind.

There wont be Humans left on this earth in 1 Million years
Here's a brain teaser for all of you...
Prove it.
Chill, have a cup of coffee.
I doubt there will be anyone here by then as well, we'll either be extinct, on other planets, or in other star systems. At the rate we're going, Earth will not be able to sustain us for very long. And I'm fairly certain it does not have the resources to sustain us for a million more years...
exactley..its called evolution unless your a crazy creationist...
In a million years I doubt there will be any humans. We will be evolved into something that adapted to some other place. Who knows.

The earth will most likely be gone in 1 million years.
